As Being World is a non-profit foundation, we always welcome additional volunteers who are interested in helping our mission. Speficially, we are looking for people to fill certain categories, but we welcome all offers of help.
- Lawyer who can double check foundation documents and advise - 2 Hours initially, then estimated 1 short phone call a month
- Web Maintainers and Translaters - someone with computer familiarity to help with website (no web experience necessary). English/Polish bilingual is helpful, not needed. 10 hours the first month, a few hours a month after that. Can be done from home.
- Intern / Personal Assistant. Excellent job for high school / college student looking for something on their resume, and wanting to contribute and get experience. 2-10 hours a week. Possible college credit.
- Graphic Artists - multiple opportunities to help
- Web Designer / Programmer - 4-10 hours needed over course of event to help with web page
- Event Planners - everything from a few phone calls a month for advise, to 4-8 hours a month of work.
- Permit and Goverment Liaison - someone who knows the permits needed, how to work within the local regulations.
- Artists - people to share the idea through their creation, both in print and media leading up to the event, and those who would like to display at the event.
- Artist Liaison - someone to organize all the artists who are interested in communicating with and coordinating all potential artists.
- Business Liaison - food vendors, and other vendors may be interested in having a stall at the event, or otherwise making money. Someone who has some experience in this field, or a retired business man/woman, would be perfect. Hours unknown, perhaps 1-4 a week, responsible for talking to potential and actual vendors.
- If you think a position is needed, and it isn't on the list, please suggest it, especially if you can fill that role!
